Looks like YANNA RASCALLA ( card no 2) and HEDWIG (card no 6) looks like having good outstanding chance.

It has run amongst its own age group and not at all impressive. even last time when it ran fourth it was not that impressive. I may be wrong but this is my view. I feel YANNA RASCALLA last run was not fully tried and today it is having the best chance.

Analysis= AME never runs two races alike.LILAC TIME belongs to N lagad if its first favourite we know what will happen. so worth takeing a small chance on SIMONA.

Analysis= No doubt a close arted race. with FRINGE BENFIT very well placed on handicap but still I feel HEDWIG considering its consistent performance, even in Bangalore it ran two very good races. I feel HEDWIG is the horse to beat today.

So watch out today ROMANTIC STAR will run a transferred race. CASTANEA danger.

Today there is no front runner and it will dart away by more than 10 lengths and will enter the home stretch well clear of the rest, then lets see what happens. also keep eye on KOHINOOR LUCY ran a very good race in race (54).the horse wanted to "GO" but the rider was pulling it.

KOLKOTTA is a centre where everything goes. Just take example of one horse EVESHAM. EVESHAM wins two to three races every season. it gets pulled when its favourite and always wins at good odds.EVE SHAM in spite of winning every season regularly its handicap never ever goes beyond 60 kgs.Even if it wins next outing it runs with same handicap/same bunch and finishes board out.
Next C ALFORD rides all races, his first favourites never ever win except if its a classic or graded race. No questions asked to him or to Vijay singh/aarti doctor/ Bharat singh.
Sometimes I really get a feeling that I am wasting my time and all our time by posting for KOLKOTTA>C.ALFORD wins around 25 races full season but is favourite in more than 150 mounts.
Well performed horse when they are favourite you can be dam sure they will fail. example SANA and today HARTNELL/MULTITUDE/RUFUS etc on paper they look outstanding but they will be favourite and will be neatly beaten by some mediocre.

Due to the on going STATUS QUO between BTC and the stupid Congress government, getting Race book is becoming a nightmare. Yesterday after a two hour hiatus on the Bangalore roads due to traffic , I could get the PUNE book. Hyderabad book not available as there is no offcourse of Hyderabad at mysore.
There are total of 19 races both put together.So, its extremely difficult to do so.

Analysis= AUGUSTA BOMBSHELL is a real "BOMB" today. problem is its a slow starter and first 100 mts it does not gallop.But once it settles in the race ITS FINISHING SPEED NO BODY CAN MATCH.This horse is worth takeing a each way chance my opinion is that with a bit of LUCK this horse should WIN. Even last run it was dead last detached from field till last 400 mts and then was flying to finish a very close fourth.Take a chance.
