Analysis= Last run VENTURA was grossly unlucky. Today at this tidy handicap and with Jockey G Amit having broken the ice and scoring a double last week I feel VENTURA will breeze away from this set. LUCK is a very important factor that is why connections also seek the support of winning jockeys with Luck.


2=FRIVILOUS(614)-UNCKLE SCROOGE(597)-VULCAN(594)
Analysis= FRIVILOUS was given a shady ride in race (108) where it was taken on a start to finish mission obviously to blow the horse away. today at this handicap and with a "waiting race" it may run a better race.This horse has performed well upto 1800 mts .Today its 2000 mts that's a small doubt in my mind. lets see....


3=KANCHENJUNGA(575)-GRAND CHIEFTAIN(561)-NOBLEMAN(FIRST RUN)
Analysis= NOBLEMAN is a well prepared youngster but pessi's other one KANCHENJUNGA has had a run benefit and looks to have the edge.


4=CLYMENE(666)-DOUBLENINE(649)-GODSOWN(649)-SHAMWARI(649)
Analysis= CLYMENE is outstanding but for "that its will be hot favorite and is owned by Dhunjibhoy"Better to look for place options which seems DOUBLENINE.

Analysis= I still feel one of these days the evergreen DANCING PRANCES will spring a surprise. No doubt NEW ENGALAND/ST ANDREWS are younger horses and have also performed well. Lets see....

Analysis= ZANZIBAR  GOOD PLACE BETS today. can upset.

Analysis= FENCING and AEOLUS MAXIMUS are demotes and have seen better class. I feel they stand a good chance .Take a chance on both and note LORRAINE for upset

Analysis= The TOP THREE are all demotes and I feel the race will be restricted to these three. KARTIKEN , I have been following for quite some time now and now that its demoted I feel it can place at good odds.


2=AVILOME VILOME(610)-SHAPE THE SCAPE(605)-SUPER CHIC(601)-BOURNVILLIE(599)
Analysis= A open race.


3=MICHELIA(610)-GLOAMING(610)-ARMINIUS(610)-CELTIC KING(609)
Analysis= Another close race, MICHELIA can place.GLOAMING can repeat


4=SANGFROID(649)-DENNY CRANE(635)-NOVERO(625)-SHIVALIK STORM(622)
Analysis= SANGFROID although its top rated I feel this set is tough. DENNY CRANE and SHIVALIK STORM have seen better class and can be on board for PLACE positions.


5=HOME OF THE BRAVE(578)-ACCIDENTAL(565)-SHIVANSH(565)
Analysis= Youngsters , true HOME OF BRAVE has ahd 4 runs but the others have not yet had that many. technically this race should be left alonf, no doubt ACCIDENTAL showed good acceleration when it finished second and has handicap advantage to be in the fight.


6=SHIVALIK SHOWERS(615)-CADMAN(615)-OPHION(614)
Analysis= On paper after its good second it would appear that CADMAN is good but generally CADMAN performs well in longer distance races so 1600 mts may be short.SHIVALIK SHOWERS is a good front runner and has a good PLACE chance.


7=SUMMERHILL(605)-BIG STAR(600)-CLAYMORE(600)-DEVOTION(600)
Analysis= A tough race. .CLAYMORE can Repeat, SUMMERHILL for place

Last Day Bangalore Winter meeting 22/3

No time to do the detailed working. That too today is last day , will be full of surprises so be careful.
I am listing below few horses which used to be in the TOP FOUR and if they have maintained the same fitness level and if they are "ON JOB" they stand a good chance to be in the fight.


1= Maidens mostly all first timers


2=PRINCESS PRIDE-CASHMERE-TIC TAC TOE , these horses have been in the top three few times. I feel they stand a good chance.


3=NOBLE SAPPHIRE is a good horse and has been in TOP FOUR a few times. It is meeting a somewhat poor set today as many horses have not even touched the board this season. NOBLE SAPPHIRE stands a good chance today.Back NOBLE SAPPHIRE a solid each way bet


4=OPTIMISTIC APPROACH and HUNTERS MOON are two good youngsters and this race seems to be between them.

6=GLITTERING GOLD has run in graded races but somehow is not performing in open class. it was in TOP FOUR many times along with SUPER SMART another consistent horse who is very unlucky. I feel both stand a good chance.COLD FRONTIER showed tremendous acceleration whilst PYSCHIC WARRIOR ran a brave forward race in the derby although in open class it has failed miserably. So hope GLITTERING GOLD and SUPERSMART will give the required excitement.


7=A poor set of non performers and the last race of the season.

Analysis= Tough race.


2=CADILLAC(628)-JEZZABELLE(628)-AIYNA(617)-STELVIO PASS(600)
Analysis= race is between the TOP TWO. One point is that CADILLAC won its first outing well. It went to front then was overtaken at the 200 mts marker and then when urged once again accelerated very well to go two lengths to front. the acceleration it showed was something unbelievable. no doubt it then won only by a NECK. still that surge at the 200 mts was too ood. Obviously horse will improve further and looks like today it will win again.


3=MONACO(600)-PRANCING QUEEN(597)-DANCING PRINCE(597)-MIDNIGHT MAGIC(596)
Analysis= MONACO stands a good chance to place.


4=BACARDI(639)-LEVANTE(638)-LADY TWO(638)-HIGHLAND PRINCESS(638)-SCARLET EMP(638)
Analysis= very close just one point seperates the top five.

Analysis=MY FREEDOM is at a very tidy handicap. No doubt the horse is good over 6F but because of low handicap it can perform well. take a small each way chance. It has good chance.

Analysis= Not sure about winner but atleast two of the horses from above can PLACE.

Analysis=This race is a straight fight between the TOP TWO. LADY BE GOOD has shown that she prefers longer ground whilst GRAND ACCORD lost last time in race (184) only because it was taken to front a bit early. This horse has a very short burst if utilized properly it can upset.


2=TIMLESS(644)-THE CIVILIAN(644)-RISING BRAVE(640)
Analysis= On its current form I feel TIMLESS is difficult to beat. Its surprising that the aged CIVILIAN is having a better rating than young seasoned sprinters. Keep this horse in TANALA pools and a small SHP chance worth it.


3=Maidens with many first timers.


4=CATALONIA(590)-OOMPH(589)
Analysis= Just one point between the TOP TWO. But CATALONIA is definetly a special horse. its DR is based on Hyderabad Chart. In its first run it won start to finish and it looked like speed is its forte. but later in next two outings when she ran second (125)(182) it settled and came from behind. in my view this horse will upset OOMPH today.


5=SUMAAQ(574)-HIS MASTERS VICE(568)-DRAGON MOSS(568)-SAFDAR(566)
Analysis= HIS MASTERS VICE is a hidden goli keep it in your radar. SUMMAQ for PLACE

6=STAR SUPERIOR(594)-SPITFIRE575)-STAR INSPIRATION(566)-HOPE AND GLORY(563)
Analysis= STAR SUPERIOR is a good horse but is a lazy sort it requires a lot of goading before it warms up and starts galloping. Since today it has to travel 200 mts more when compared to its PNB run I feel it will romp home.

Analysis= A bunch of very fast horses luck of the race will matter.

Analysis= The top three are in avery competitive position.All three are Mumbai imports and POLLYANA is best amongst them but DANCING PRINCE is a slo a speedy type who has hitherto not been extended so far.

Analysis= THE STRADLE is the days bets each way bet. I still recall as a youngster THE STRADLE was thought to be a classic hope. it has raced very good races as a youngster. Firstly, let me thank the members who shared their gratitude and were able to cash on the following which were strongly recommended.
Bangalore: CZAR RULE at (6/1) and 14/10 each way strong recommended and some of them cashed on LOUISINA (10/1) first in rating and best of all was some after seeing the positive comment took a small chance on POWERSCOURT a 40/1 shot. POWERCOURT at Bangalore tote paid rs 497 for win and rs 97 for place.
MUMBAI: Good  to note that some of you could cash on SELFIE STAR (70/100,) not a bad odds at all for a PICK UP MONEY ) and SIR SONG (6/1) (11/10 place), MASTER SERGEANT (11/10), COLEGIUM (12/10) strongly recommended for place. Best was a few backed CHARGING TIGRESS for place at (5/1) which was also favorably commented upon.


So, lets hope the lucky phase continues.

Looks like today Padmanabhan has entered all the horses that are available in his stable. Obviously after a long time he is sensing that he can become the champion as the leader prassana kumar is just one point ahead.

Analysis= YES! CLASSIC CUT is FIRST RUN but seeing its pedigree I feel it will WIN on Debut.
FANTASTIC APP and CROIZET have a good chance to follow for the PLACE slot.

Analysis= IRA is a bad starter if it breaks level it has a excellent chance. course odds in place will be too low.

Analysis= A very close rated one. On paper VOLATILITY I feel will win. UNIVERSAL LAW is very speedy and hitherto not allowed to run freely. Today from draw(2) it will dart away and PLACE chances are too good.

Analysis= FRESH START and BACK OF BEYOND are two horses who have seen better class and have better chance than the rest.

Analysis= GLITTERING GOLD and AUTOMATIC are classic contenders. They have performed well in graded races and the top two slots are reserved for them with GLITTERING GOLD having a slightly better chance.TANOURA has a good chance to place.

Analysis= maidens with many of them have had only one or two runs.So the DR not yet established .

Analysis= FABULOUS IS TWO CLASSES SUPERIOR TO THIS SET. True the handicap is a bit stiff but considering that the horse has fought with giants, I feel that if Antony raj, rides this horse like he rode POWERCOURT day before, well it should be guarantee for PLACE and mostly can upset.

Analysis= a close rated race with just 5 points between the top four. see race time trends. Last time I had commented favourably about ALBRETTA. it actually met with interference and stumbled, so today it has bright chance.
