ASTRO: MERCURY(5) is very strong, keep a eye on Number (5) today both CARD and DRAW. It will pop up in win and place in atleast 5 races out of 8 today.

Analysis= FOREVER BULLISH is a late warmer and as per my reading it has no chance over 6F.SPRINT LEGEND is the speediest of the lot but the connections have pulled the horse for almost 2 years now. I doubt if it will be tried today.The race I feel will be between the other two. MY CHOICE has blinding speed and in my view it will hit the front and is danger.But the horse to beat is RACING IKON.It has NO CLASS here. The stable is also doing very well. I feel it will WIN(hedge SHP).


2=TAKE A BOW(570)-KHAN SAHIB(569)-CITI COLOURS(563)-BHARAT QUEEN(560)
Analysis= TAKE A BOW is up coming in good form, stable is also firing off but may be 1100 mts may be a bit short. KHAN SAHIB has raced with better class horses and I fell that KHAN SAHIB/CITI COLOURS should be on board , both have excellent chance.


3=BEAUTY FLASH(542)-ASHWINI(540)-DEAR FRIEND(521)-YES BABY(521)-YET ANOTHER(521)
Analysis= I just don't want to comment. Too many front runners, right from YES BABY/ASHWINI/BEAUTY FLASH/TIME IS LUCK.DEAR FRIEND, all are very speedy horses and it will be a catch me if you can situation. Only one horse comes from behind YET ANOTHER.. Two of our eternal follow horses BEAUTY FLASH/YES BABY are running. PLEASE AVOID THIS RACE.

Analysis= TOP STARCHY for PLSACE.


5=HANDY MAN(560)-BREEZE OF SOUTH(557)-DORETTO(557)-PENTAGON(557)
Analysis= PENTAGON will go to front and fizzle out. DOREETO is a one paced horse who prefers longer, so race is between the other two. HANDY MAN warms up very late, 7F may be sharp but horse has got better class. lets see......


6=PALACE ON WHEELS(590)-ROYAL DYNAMITE(590)-ASTERIA(584)-VALLE SCEPTRE(582)
Analysis= PALACE ON WHEELS is a fast horse. Its run in race 167 was very impressive. PALACE ON WHEELS likes to race freely in front but in race (167) over 7F it was running in check and in spite of distance being unsuited, at the finish you should see the horse was actually warming up and was interfered at the 200mts marker and finished a close 5th.Next best VALLE SECRETE

Analysis= Here too like HANDY MAN, I wish distance was 1600 mts. 1400 mts may be a bit short for LIKE WISE. if it warms up in time can do it.

Analysis= the "VIJAY" connections have lost interest in racing and not keen any more. Some of their left overs are always on job and trainers run them to cover expenses' I feel ROMANTIC FIRE is very well placed in the Handicap and will atleast fight out with CASH LANDING who has just been demoted after a good run in race 210 where it finished 3rd in higher set.

ASTRO: SATURN(8) is the strong number.URANUS (1/10) will win one race and rest MOON(2-7-11) is powerful.


KOLKOTTA is a centre where everything goes. Just take example of one horse EVESHAM. EVESHAM wins two to three races every season. it gets pulled when its favourite and always wins at good odds.EVE SHAM in spite of winning every season regularly its handicap never ever goes beyond 60 kgs.Even if it wins next outing it runs with same handicap/same bunch and finishes board out.
Next C ALFORD rides all races, his first favourites never ever win except if its a classic or graded race. No questions asked to him or to Vijay singh/aarti doctor/ Bharat singh.
Sometimes I really get a feeling that I am wasting my time and all our time by posting for KOLKOTTA>C.ALFORD wins around 25 races full season but is favourite in more than 150 mounts.
Well performed horse when they are favourite you can be dam sure they will fail. example SANA and today HARTNELL/MULTITUDE/RUFUS etc on paper they look outstanding but they will be favourite and will be neatly beaten by some mediocre.

Analysis= TOP GUN with C Alford will be favourite so forget it. May be ZANDRA can place.

Analysis= SIMON/STELLANOVA will be favourite so ignore them and may be ROMANTIC SOCIETY will place.

Analysis= NOBU good chance won well.

ASTRO: MARS(9) and its compliment VENUS(6) are strong but fields are very small and (9) AMAZING BOLT in the 5th race is the only horse with CARD (9).MOON(2-7) is the next power number.

Analysis= Race will be staright fight between the TOP TWO.

Analysis= BIG NEWS is known as a sprinter ,1600 mts will suit MIDDELEXS as it warms up late and had earler run with good horses like BULGERIAN etc


3=VIDYEESHA(610)-ANCIENT GLORY(600)
Analysis= ANCIENT GLORY no doubt is too speedy but VIDTEEHA is agem of a performer. Right from a 2yr ols this horse has maintained good form and I feel is the horse to beat.

Analysis= FLEMENCO won very well on debut and is likely to repeat,SHENGLI is avery fats horse and is sure to run on for place

Analysis= PRETTY STAR is truly the merit horse but cant trust the connections. KISS N CHASE is speedy but would prefer a bit longer. I feel this race will boil down to GOLDEN XANTHUS and WESTERN EXPRESS.


2=All First timers but trying some Number system where (4-8-1-5) will likely to perform


3=AEROFIL(563)-BREAKING NEWS(538)-CASHEL(519)-GLORIOUS GREY(518)
Analysis= The TOP TWO have the best chance.AEROFIL is better only point is handicap is abit stiff.


4=MAHATEJI(545)-DESTINED DYNAMITE(540)-MAHATI(536)-ETERNAL ANGEL(535)
Analysis= Three of them ran in same race and finished quite close by. In my view this race will be between DESTINED DYNAMITE/ETERNAL ANGEL.

Analysis=APACHE GAL won a 7F quite well but is suddenly coming down in distance with a lot of speedy horses so I feel although its top rated its chances seem less. In my view AAKASH VANI has been steadily bought down in grade , its very speedy also. I feel it will be on job today and will fight out with KIREETI.

Analysis= KING DAVID ran a brave race yesterday can again put up a good show.

Analysis= A open sort. .ICE CAVE also warms up too late.ACT IN TIME is the correct horse, but dicey connections not sure whetehr it will be tried


8=WAR LADY(522)-VALLE PEAKS(518)-YES BABY(512)-NOVITIOUS(511)
Analysis= WAR LADY ran a good forward race once and then next outing pulled up lame, so not sure about its fitness.VALLE PEAKS is un reliable. that leaves the other too. NOVITIOUS is a  unknown quantity and YES BABY is now quite "FAMOUS" with all my followers. She has decided that she "WILL NEVER PERFORM AS LONG AS I KEEP TIPPING HER", I am really surprised every time it comes in TOP FOUR. last run it ran such a good arce till bend was in the fight whena horse FELL in front of her and she was pulled back. GOD KNOWS whenYES BABY will run on MERIT>

ASTRO: Today MERCURY (5/14) and PLUTO (8) are powerful along with MOON(2-7-11).


Today there are many outstanding horses which on MERIT cannot lose, but I have noticed that at Hyderabad one has to be very careful about Hot favourites.many outstanding horses at cramped odds have failed. it the odds are 80 paise fine but if they are half money or so then be careful of following horses who according to me cannot lose UNLESS HOOKED.
Race (1)-No 4 HIGHLY ACCLAIMED- Race (3) No 1 AMAZING RESPONSE  and race (4) No 2 DANCE OH DANCE.


1=HIGHL  ACCLAIMED(575)-PRINCE CASPIAN(569)-SOUTHERN PROMISE(569)-MARINA DEL RAY(563)
Analysis= Actually HIGHLY ACCLAIMED is outstanding here but as mentioned before if its the HOT FAVOURITE with odds of less than 50 paise then its not worth the risk. in which case PRINCE CASPIAN is the next best.

Analysis= Another outstanding runner is AMAZING RESPONSE it cannot lose in this set unless its HOOKED. But if it is very hot favourite then don't touch it and take a PLACE chance on SHAKESPEARE.

Analysis= DANCE OH DANCE is the THIRD outstanding horse of the day. But if its less than 50 paise ignore it as it may not be genuinely tried.SILVER DOLLAR can be taken a small chance for place. SILVER DOLLAR is a horse where the connections were not sure what type of running it likes. first they tried to have a waiting race and try from behind but off late the horse is allowed to run START TO FINISH where it runs a better race, so today also it will hit the front and has agood PLACE chance.

Analysis= a race to be avided, except that KING DAVID and MAGICAL SPELL if they have good odds take a small chance EACH WAY.

Analysis= just 3 points between the top three, but.... the AUGUSTA BOMBSHELL is back. remember I had recommended as a worth takeing bet on last day.Now days this horse ahs started takeing a level jump. Today we have to PRAY THAT THE HORSE TAKES A LEVEL JUMP FROM THE GATE. IF IT TAKES A LEVEL JUMP THEN YOU CAN GO AND STAND IN BOOKIES Q TO ENCASH YOUR PLACE BET. IT CAN EVEN WIN.Danger is the START TO FINISH customer PENUMATCH PRIDE.

Analysis= RAHULS PET is hooked enough.Even last run in race (219( horse wanted to "GO" but the rider was just not allowing it  to go as PRECIOSA was on job. Today I feel RAHULS PET will not lose.(Hedge SHP)


8=BEAUTY FLASH(528)-NEGRESS PRINCESS(509)-RECUMBINTIBUS(500)-CARNIVAL EXPRESS(495)
Analysis= I repeat the comment I gave in race (223).BEAUTY FLASH is avery fast horse. last time in race (223) surprisingly it was not allowed to hit the front. Today also there is no front runner. I am hopeing that it will hit the front today and run a brave race.

Analysis= BIG ORANGE was thought of as a classic hope and performed well thru out the season last time. it was also entered in Bangalore in one of the graded race.I feel race is staright between BIG ORANGE and NEW YORK. last run NEW YORK was 30 paise and was well and truly hooked. It is guaranteed to PLACE today can even upset.




4=ROARING RASCAL(545)-HOT BLOOD(543)-MISTY BLUE(540)-GOLDEN CHILLY(539)
Analysis= A VB type. ROARING RASCAL has the best chance but both HOT BLOOD and MISTY BLUE will also be in the fight. HOT BLOOD is avery fast horse, will hit the front and will fight on till end and MISTY BLUE is avery very late rusher. since distance is 1600 mts with agood jockey from Mumbai. its the danger to all.




5=TOP BRASS(600)-SHES THE SCRIPT(586)-MR STUNNING(580)-MASTER PHOENIX(580)
Analysis= TOP BRASS , RACE OVER. Last run it was 40 paise and it was just not tried. rider was hooking right from the word GO. Today also it will be favourite but with slightly better odds.i feel it cannot lose.
