No doubt only one point separates them but still I feel BIG ORANGE is a far superior horse in comparison with PROFITABLE and should WIN this race.

Analysis= ANCIENT GLORY is old but still has a lot of FIRE left and always performs well over this distance. NEW YORK is danger.

Analysis= The TOP three have blinding speed and from the word "GO" they will be in front and fight the finish. Today first three races are for MAIDENS with each race having nearly 4 horses who are first timers so they will not have ratings. If the winner/place come from them then we cannot help.

Analysis= Technically a race to be avoided as 4 horses are first timers. From amongst those that have had a run STARIDAR and BARNABAS are one and two but just see even after two outings the rating of STARIDAR is very poor.(528) is in fact VB type of rating and I feel STARIDAR who will be hot favourite today will again lose and some First timer like GOLDEN FORTUNE/DARSHISH may upset.(MOKA and MADDONA are two other first timers.The chances for STARIDAR to lose is more because it will be odds ON today and we have the deadly combination of Suraj/Prasad raju.

Analysis= In this field of 6, LIMITATION is a bad starter while all the above three are known to like long distances.CAROLINA MOON is some how off form and this season twice EURO ZONE has beaten her convincingly , in race (66) and (122). also in race (122) EURO ZONE has beaten DAHLOIS convincingly.No doubt today DAHLOIS is better placed on Handicap. so in conclusion I feel EURO ZONE /DAHLOIS will fight out. EURO ZONE with jockey Srinath and 50/60 paise why to risk. better to back DAHLOIS PLACE.

Analysis= JAAZ IT UP is the fastest of the lot and if it gets a good jump it will be in WIN?SHP

Analysis= ADAM is extremely fortunate to meet such a set on level terms.Last run in Mumbai it finished a close 5th (Race no 65) to very very good horses which indicates that horse is in peak form now. only PROBLEM IS FIRST FAVOURITE AND MR P TREVOR   From amongst the balance atleast two horses have chance to place. Since this will be a very fast run race, the late finishing TIME FOR FUN can place. Also MR BAHUBALI who is DRAWN(1) will simply dart away from the gates and can make a race of it. one more point please note whenever Pessi send his horses to Hyderabad they are in the care of DESHMUKH. Now MR BAHUBALI is with trained by deshmukh and ADAM is the hot favourite. ???????

Analysis= BORN TO DO IT has to only get a good jump from the gates and hit the front. if it hits the front then race is OVER.From now on keep RYUZAKI in your note book along with SPRINT LEGEND , both the horses are fighting fit and may be not today but in coming weeks, RYUZAKI will be entered in middle distance and it will be tried.

All good horses are entered obviously being a big day making winner picking very challenging and difficult.That too 10 races Be selective and take care. one thing I have experienced over last three years that DERBY DAY at Hyderabad is a Nightmare for punters and most of the winners are from hidden horses who have no form so please be very careful and don't take much risks.


ASTRO: SUN (1:4:10 ) is strong. MERCURY (5/14) may place some where with one or two winners.

Of course being derby day one would not like to leave but avoid betteing in any other race , back only TRUMP GIRL as suggested and sit out.Normally I would not recommend a bet in maidens races but today I feel TRUMP GIRL worth takeing a chance.Sit out after that.

Analysis= CARNIVAL won well last run but the set it beat was quite poor.Also its a 5year old Mare that means its back from stud duties. The youngest in the Field is BUNTING, it has a decent rating and its run behind two very good horses in race (19) was eye catching. In race (66) it was misplaced over 1200 mts. today its in right distance with good strong day number (5).I feel its the horse to beat and a WIN (Hedge SHP) recommended. The long priced ZANZIBAR has a good chance to PLACE.

Analysis=Firstly LADY BE GOOD I would discount as in Pune when it won it was a GIFT race to Yash Narredu and all others were simply sitting.ADONAIJAH in race (119) was hooked by Trevor. KOMANDANT is too old in the tooth. .There are to horses who have had only two runs and yet to establish their ratings a) MANDRAKE and b)MASERATI.So, all in all a difficult race to crack and best to be left off.

Analysis= LOCARNO has got zeeshan a up coming and dependable rider but personally I don't like.JUGGERNAUT is the speediest of the lot but handicap is tough. I feel the late rushing FRINGE BENEFIT/CYCLONE have got a good chance. When I say good chance means they can show off in PLACE.

Analysis= only twp points between the top two.So deep study required. if we analyise we find that CONGRESSIONAL is too old and against youngsters its tough.ANNACAPRI if we see its runs last time it beat ALLORA which is of at best Class III type.My view is MYGRATOR and EXCELLENT GOLD should fight a close finish and it will be either which way result will go. very close I feel.

Analysis= the last win of PRICELESS ART was very stylish and last run of COUNCELLOR after being in the rear all the way and warming up was good so these two should dominate the finish.

Analysis= STUNNER is a 800 mts horse and will hit front but tire out.This is aNO WHIP RACE and PRICELESS GIRL seems better suited as it is also avery speedy horse and can stay up with the pace. Finally PRICELESS GIRL and the late rushing WALK ON BY should dominate the finish.

Analysis= WARLOCK is top rated by virtue that its from MUMBAI circuit. But it has won in a VB race in MUMBAI and does not appeal much. OCEANA has gone up in handicap can repeat though. But my eye is on POINT. This horse is demoted . No doubt 1100 mts is short as point warms up very late. but since bunch is poor and if it warms up in time it can hit the board.
