Analysis= A very open race. last run RUFUS had gone lame, ALDERO is not on Track. Better to take a small PLACE chance on the other two.

Analysis= Truly MAHALI the daughter of multiclassic winner "ALIES SENADE" is the horse to beat.But.... KND and odds on favourite have a history that they never win.If the odds are better say evens or little more than that then it will be honestly tried. else....it will fund the bookies.TORCH BEARER is good but distance may be sharp. C ALFORD this season at kolkotta should be backed when he is not on a favourite. here is one horse FRIENDSHIP who will go out at 6/1 today. Worth a small each way bet.

Yesterday, BRUNESCO dashed the gates and bolted ,was injured still it was made to run. it is reported that it had problems with its Front leg after having dashed the gates. BAD LUCK , I was hoping it will be WITHDRAWN but unfortunately it ran and let us down. Never mind please keep it in your diary and once it is back to fitness you will be able to recoup in next two outings.


Please find the TOP FOUR with potential to perform and my views. A very well filled card at Hyderabad today. Looks like many connections want to get a "LUNG OPENER" at least for their wards. Under such circumstances it would be advisable to be selective and concentrate on "PLACE".


ASTRO: MOON(2-7-11-16) is the strongest number of the day and WILL RULE the day in WIN/PLACE CARD and DRAW. As fields are big Number count is more. PLUTO(8) will surely WIN or PLACE in atleast two or three races. Analysis= TREASURE STRIKER if one recalls, it ran 5th in the HYD DERBY last season. it has the benefit of a run and STRONG (2) with good rider.BAYRD is another horse having a easy run (race16). I feel both these horses stand excellent chance to be in the fight.

Analysis= Maidens races generally to be avoided. Also here ACE ACE/LATEST NEWS/YOUR GRACE are running for first time. We know how well LAXMAN singh has prepared his youngsters at Bangalore so YOUR GRACE . But I feel amongst the four having good rating atleast two of them will hit the board.

Analysis= Same logic as previous race. ADORIA/ONE ONE running for the first time. Still amongst the TOP FOUR atleast two of them expected to hit the board.

Analysis= Some how Sateesh seems to be going slow and bringing his ward down for the next continued season. So I feel the top two have good chance. PALISADES PARK now that it has had a run with (8) looks good for PLACE.

Analysis= Stay away.

Analysis= HIGHLY ACCLAIMED I would leave it first. This is a funny horse and never runs two races alike. The other three all have a fighting chance. LA ROMANCE is very well placed on handicap. FAR SIGHT is on a HATRICK.CELTIC QUEEN has a benefit of a "EASY RUN". The outsider amongst them is CELTIC QUEEN with Day number (7) take a PLACE chance.

Analysis= ET VOICI was highly thought off. IT failed to live to its expectations. After having run in graded races it has come down to almost "A" class. It has excellent chance but keep a eye on PLATINUM CLASSZ. this horse is a gusty front runner. it has DRAW(1). will dart to the front and likely to upset. WIN/SHP more in PLACE IS worth a chance.

Analysis= A really open race. Firstly COVER ALL IN POOLS. MOUNTAIN OF LIGHT is cut above the set. But distance may be a bit short.AALISHAN is also agood prospect but SEFARINA has ahd a run benefit. It is a erratic horse if it breaks level with DAY NUMBER (8) it can be in TOP TWO.

Analysis= Rememeber I had strongly recommended MINT when it ran in race (118).That day the rider messed up everything. TODAY THIS HORSE IS A SURE SHOT IN PLACE.(Cover small WIN/SHP) but PLACE IS SURE.

Analysis= LADY IN LACE, well everything depends on P TREVOR.

I cannot begin this post without touching upon our favourite rider (or shall I say hooker) P TREVOR.
Brilliant the way he hooks favourites especially odds ON horses. Yesterday "STORM" was the third ODDS ON horse he pulled at Pune including two on first day.In last race "BRAVE" it was clear as day light that he was waiting for some one. last 200 mts , yes you all will be surprised as Pune straight is only 400 plus mts. Last 200 mts he was doing DRAMA and not a single "PUSH" I have watched video several times and making this statement. While we all bank on this fellow he has a nexus with SHADY guys and in Month on JULY he has had  20 odd mounts at PUNE and MYSORE. He was fav or second fav in most and Failed in 80 percent..
As I have mentione dbefore and mentioning again P TREVOR/SURAJ/NEERAJ/SANDESH/SRINATH/S JOHN all birds of same feather. Now days this is the Style. by turns these guys" favourites takes turn to get BEAT.


ASTRO: On the positive side what a show by MOON (2/7/11) on POORNIMA DAY. Time and again I had mentione dthe SUN/MOON effect on AMAVAS and POORNIMA DAYS. Yesterday since MOON was to be tormented in the Night by way of ECLIPSE it became very powerful.

Analysis= Maidens. RAJVEER is a very well performed horse but its last two runs it was not seriously tried.. Horse has merit only it should be tried.

Analysis= Stay away form this one.

Analysis= Obviously on CURRENT FORM the above four stand out .This season all have performed well. one point is TUTANKHAMUN won in race (101) in a timing of 1.10 second which is something never heard off in Bangalore track. That too with 60 kgs. On that run if the horse
has maintained its fitness I feel it will repeat.


5=ROYAL SCEPTRE(585)-BIG SUR(580)-CAPRICIOUS(580)-SEDULOUS(575)
Analysis= In race (108) all the TOP THREE ran and today ROYAL SCEPTRE seems to be better placed. One more point is that BIG SUR/CAPRICOUS are one paced sort and don't have a "BLINDING" finish. the horse that LITERALLY FLIES at the finish is SEDULOUS.  Back it EACH WAY today.ROYAL SCEPTRE for PLACE.


6=SPEED HAWK(599)-TZAR(595)-GYPSY(591)-HARLEY QUEEN(588)-TAMARA(588)
Analysis= SPEED HAWK from last two years has been continuously performing very consistently. it has all along been in CLASS II and running with super horse. this bunch is nothing. only point is SPEED HAWK prefers a bit longer .1200 mts may be a bit short.But it has CLASS to upset.
Next best is TZAR for a FLUKE place chance as this horse also is a front runner and come down from 60 and above and is carrying atleast 10 kgs less.

Analysis= HOPE IS ETERNAL is the best performed of the lot and has avery good prospect. But for betting back EXCLUSIVE SYMBOL, PLACE AND STAND IN Q RIGHT AWAY. (cover small WIN/more SHP)

Analysis= Many youngsters are participating here and on the face of it this race to be AVOIDED. STARIDAR is best peformed and finished SHD behind MISS LILY. but I feel this distance is short and its top weight and rider is not good. Just for TIME PASS you can take  a small Chance on NEW STATE. this is a very good horse. It has speed as well it can settle and come from behind. I feel it will be tried today and take a Token small each way bet.

Analysis= Last run remember even with Vijay Kumar rider I had recommended OCEAN STORM. It is one class superior to this set. If its tried it should run a bold race.

Analysis= FLASH TIME in race (25) ran a fantastic race. At the 200 mts it almost came to fighting line and then faded out. in fact in that race Monoppas horse only won. TODAY THIS HORSE IS SURE SHOT FOR PLACE and with a bit of luck it can even UPSET.

Analysis= FLYING SHOW is a expert weight carrier and is always a danger. However FINK (with day number3 and good rating seems a safer each way bet.

Horse is well placed even on handicap and I feel it can be there for PLACE today.

Analysis= truly a tough race. ARAK last time (race 35) ther was a enquiry and rider Sandesh suspended obviously for pulling. Such ENQUIRY horses don't WIN next outing just to protect the rider and to prove the ENQUIRY wrong. So the race may be between the balance three and all have merit.

Analysis= GOLDEN CRUISE and DIAMOND ATTRACTION are two very very speedy customers. Also one (DRAW 3/12)) has to WIN/SHP today. So, I feel that DIAMOND ATTRACTION is the horse to be taken a each way bet. more over DIAMOND ATTRACTION if you see its past form has raced with much higher company and if its in the betting and is either first/second favourite then it will do it.

A few golden rules at Hyderabad.
- Generally the outstation riders come for a holiday so don't rely too much on them especially favourites.
- ODDS ON Favourites at HYDERABAD fail in 90 percent times especially if they are HALF MONEY or less.Take out any book of last couple of seasons and you will be amazed to see that 50 paise or less horses HOT FAVOURITES are failing.
- Some trainers favourites have to be avoided like Prasad raju and now instead of anupam sharma we have CVG Kishore looking after his horses.

The rating says it all. Only point is last run GALAXY QUEEN was badly hampered by rider less horse and afterwards the rider lost intrest. also I feel last run it was negative last minute as ODDS drifted form3/1 to 7/1.Today it will surely be tried.

Analysis= SATURN and DIAMOND ATTRACTION are fast speedy horses and could fight out. Place good chance for SATURN.

Analysis= Again all top three are same in rating. Only two points, one STAR COMMAND is a Mumbai import and its a bad starter but at the same time is very speedy. if it breaks level and if connections are "ON" it will "FLY". Next FLASH TIME. well what to say. last run after being far away near 100 mts it almost took over and then weakened. that day MONOPPAS horse HALLOWENS WAY only won the race. Also that day FLASH TIME body weight had gone up by about 10 kgs. Today I am sure after that run it would have trimmed down.
By all LOGIC FLASH TIME IS A PICK UP MONEY FOR PLACE and in my view its a good EACH WAY BET. But we are in racing where lot of things defy logic. so lets hope our understanding and LOGIC works out today and FLASH TIME runs a GREAT race.

Analysis= Last run in race (38) TEODORO was covering tremendous ground and just missed winning. based on that run I feel it should win here from the good youngster KASHKA who is having its first run but tracking well.ZHU ZHU EST will surely place .ODDS will be better than the other too.

Analysis= On paper AS GOOD AS IT GETS stands a good each way chance. the speedy REVAN STAR can also place.

Analysis= LINCOLN has done nothing wrong its just plain unlucky. It has managed to beat almost same bunch in race (51) by almost 5 lengths. So, with that line of thought LINCOLN should win here but.....the KND factor is the biggest negative. LINCOLN will be HOT FAV and the connections are such crooks that.../On the contrary its better to take a small each way chance and GUARATNREED place chance on CAPTAIN COURAGE.

Analysis= The first three horses are sloawly running to form and will dominate the finish. only point is STRAR CRACKER was highly thought off. As a youngster it was aclassic prospect and even finished second in the summer classics. after that it lost form. now its back to old form. the only problem is this horse has a very short burst. if this burst is utilized properly at right time then it can WIN here,

Analysis= Between the TOP TWO. AURIC FORCE can do it.

Analysis= Another NO WHIP RACE makes it atough race. INCITATUS is good , flies last part but may require the whip. my eye is on the rank fluke HAPPY HOURS. HAPPY HOURS is a speedy front runner so without whip it can run freely and PLACE chances are good.
