ASTRO:Today JUPITER(3) is strong and MERCURY (5) is now going into RETROGRATE motion. Before that the planet STANDS STILL and at that time its very powerful.So, MERCURY(5) CARD and DRAW will WIN and PLACE in atleast 2 races today
1=ROMAN RDGES(595)-BOURNVILLIE(585)-IVY(583)-CELTIC COMMANDER(568)
Analysis= IVY is with "S" shoes, I feel race will be between the TOP TWO.
2=ARCHIVOLT(591)-SO REGAL(586)-ROMANCER(582)-ZARA GO ZARA(571)
Analysis= ARCHIVOLT is ridden by C Alford. At kolkotta its very easy to eliminate C ALFORD. If his horse is favourite, whatever be the merit, its safer to leave the horse. He may win one odd favourite but 90 percent he will pull. So if ARCHIVOLT is favourite just leave it ,SO REGAL has CARD number (5) worth a each way chance.
3=MERCEDES(570)-SIMON TEMPLAR(566)-RAQS SHARQI(566)-MOCHA LOCA(562)
Analysis= MOCHA LOCA will be favourite with ARTI DOCTOR and ALFORD combination just leave it.I feel the race is fight between MERCEDES and SIMON TEMPLAR. SIMON TEMPLAR is a well prepared horse and ran two very good forward races at Bangalore. in fact in race 110 it was leading till last 150 meters and leading by almost 2 lengths then faded out. Problem is I have noticed at KOLKOTTA very few horses win start to finish. they lead till last 150 mts and then a whole lot of horses come from behind and beat them. So in conclusion I feel MERCEDES is better.
4=SHOHIN(561)-COOL CUSTOMER(561)-MARISKA544)
Analysis= SHOHIN IS THE DAYS BEST BET.I feel it just CANT LOSE. Back it for WIN ,( but do cover your bet with SHP) .The manner it won race no 10 was seen to be believed. After that its rating has shot up. It is a horse who will like the longer distance and I feel tough to beat it today. Also take small chance on COOL CUSTOMER for PLACE.
5=GIFT OF VALENTINE(635)-AQUATINA(634)-STAR ONE(632)
Analysis= just 3 points separate the TOP Three. GIFT OF V and AQUARINA belong to same trainer. So, may be the one with better rider may be on job so race boils down between STAR ONE and AQUATINA>
6=KAARTIKEN(623)-MY FREEDOM(614)-FOOT LOOSE(604)-MUSTANG(600)
Analysis= A tough race , see race time trends. All above are flukes take a small place chance at race time may be two of them should hit the board.
7=FLIGHT OF PHOENIX(629)-BLUE ZONE (625)-ROLLY POLLY(616)-SIMRANS CHOICE(606)
Analysis= SIMRONS CHOICE is a bad starter. FLIGHt OF P , is speedy but last run was bad and they may not try with this apprentice. Last run BLUE ZONE was having its body weight up by 22 kgs yet it flew and finished a good third. just see the horse's body weight if it has trimmed down then I feel it has been sharperned well and WILL WIN.(COVER SHP).Keep a special eye on ROLLY POLLY, this horse can win whenever they want , today it has good rating and DAY NUMBER (5) it can upset, PLACE chance are good.
