Analysis= Not too sure how long this change of heart by the rider will hold on. has he got transferred after rididng for this connection only time will tell. But on paper SUMMER MANE is the best horse in this set and with a honest effort should win. CATCHY CHARGER has not been seriously tried last season. Once or twice it was SLOE OFF too. today the set is too weak. If the rider of favourite is back to his wayward ways then CATCHY CHARGER is the ONE. Place on CC looks to be a safer bet.
4=SUPER STORM(602)-CLASS IS CLASS(580)-MISS INTERNATIONAL(559)
Analysis= The one time INDIAN DERBY winner is definetly there but of late that sparkle is missing. Even in its last two runs it has not exhibited that touch. Can win no doubt. But at this time of day MERCURY(5) is the strongest. CLASS has DRAW(5) and MISS I has card (5). I feel its worth takeing a each way chance on them.
5=HELIOS(584)-SUPER STRONG(557)-ON TIME(547)-EVANDER(547)
Analysis= HELIOS has been ultra consistent. At this point of time MOON(2-7-11) is the strongest. both HELIOS and ON TIME have double support of CARD/DRAW of MOON numbers. They should finish ONE-TWO .
6=COUNTRY NOBILITY(598)-COOL HAND(585)-MANDRIN(582)-GLITTERING(582)
Analysis= Expect a "GOLI" here. the top two have very good chance to upset here. CN has the MOON Card to support. Worth a chance. ELSE GLITTERING with DRAW(2) can do it. all in all a tough one see the race time trends
7=COSMIC TOUCH(590)-STAR FORMATION(580)-BESTOW(569)-DRAGON(560)
Analysis= COSMIC TOUCH is top rated , a good horse.7F is a slight worry as it has a blazing front running style. STAR FORMATION selects herself considering its run in Bangalore Fillies. but youngsters are bound to improve fast and many in this race have had only one run. Why risk?
8=REFERENT(627)-CARISA(606)-W.S STORY(602)-PROTECTOR OF PARIS(593)
Analysis= REFERENT with TOP Rating and MOON draw (2) is past the post ,but odds will be poor.W.S STORY looks to be the only one who can run SHP. One of the other two will run 3rd.
9=FLYING TRICOLOUR(606)-LINCOLN CONTINENTAL(580)-CROWN EMP(57)-BYRANT PARK(571)
Analysis= This is MYSORE race. means MYS horses may outsmart the Bangalore ones. make no mistake last run when FLYING TRICOLOUR became course favourite, it was hooked. At the 250 mts marker it was cruising but rider was waiting for some one to overtake it and as easy the last 100 mts as a result it went to fourth. Today they will get odds and will surely be on job. is the one to beat. CROWN EMP is in with "s" so doubtful but the one who can trouble FT is BYRANT PARK. After many listless runs this one has been finishing close to the frame. is fighting fit with MOON(2) can run close.
